603世界自行車日in台灣 / June 3 World Bicycle Day in Taiwan

為了響應聯合國訂定6月3日為世界自行車日，樂活自行車協會號召300位車友在大稻埕碼頭集合，車友們騎著各種單車-公路車、登山車、斜躺車、UBike還有身障手搖車，沿著美麗的台北市河濱自行車道一路騎乘25公里，前往台北市政府東門廣場。抵達市府廣場後，參加世界自行車日宣言活動。在台北市、新北市、桃園市和新竹市交通局處首長共同簽署支持世界自行車日宣言儀式後，車友們相繼上台說出自己愛單車的一句話。期望大家不只在這一天騎車，也能常常快樂騎單車，享受單車的好處與樂趣！

More than 300 riders showed up in Dadaocheng wharf in Taipei to celebrate the first World Bicycle Day in Taiwan.
The event was organized by Formosa Lohas Cycling Association which is also the founding member of World Cycling Alliance. Road, mountain, recumbent, and even hand bike (for disabled) cyclists rode along 25 km of beautiful riverside bike path to Taipei City Hall.
The riding event was followed by a formal declaration of support to World Bicycle Day by four city government offices in northern Taiwan, and the local citizens.
